Beloved Sister Cousin, Aunt, Great Aunt, Teacher, Friend and Neighbour
28 January 1932 to 21 January 2021

This is a Voice Quilt made up of voices of family members and friends wishing my sister Creena Happy Birthday in 2007. The "Quilt" or tape of greetings, poems, stories, memories and songs was made for her 75th birthday.
The "Voice Quilt" was fitted into a small wooden chest and the recording started when the box lid was opened. I know Creena really enjoyed listening to the messages from her family and friends and remembering times being with them and their shared memories.
It has been 18 years since this recording was made, children have grown up, loved ones have passed away, but listening to this may bring back happy memories for some.
My blog readers can listen to different voices, accents, jokes, songs and poems from people in Scotland, England, the USA and many friends in Canada.
This is an International Happy Birthday Greeting - listen to how many said "God Bless You"
We even have Susan reading "The Broons" (a Scottish comic strip) with her U.S. Southern accent.
The Canadians sound more Scots than some of the Scots.
There are gaps where voices make up their greetings - fast forward.
Also fast forward if you don't understand the lengthy messages with heavy Scottish accents.
